I source and sell vintage homeware, books, furniture and accessories.

I am also the founder of Sugar and Spice Flea Market, an exciting, new west London flea http://sugarandspicefleamarket.blogspot.co.uk.

How it all started

For many years I have sold at car boot sales, loving the buzz of a sale and meeting like minded people (and always finding time to do a quick shop too).

I was inspired to start selling vintage after my wedding in 2010. It was then that I discovered the whole world of vintage tea parties. Our wedding tables were vintage inspired with cake stands, traditional cakes, and bonbon jars. A lot of our wedding supplies came from Etsy including our record shaped invitations (my husband is a DJ and avid vinyl collector) and we personalised cootie catchers which kept children and adults entertained!

Less than a year later I opened my very own Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/uk/shop/CupandSaucerUK) and now sell at events across London including Hackney Flea Market and Judy's Affordable Vintage Fairs.

My new venture Sugar and Spice Flea Market launches on 23rd July at the stunning Victorian pub, The Grange, in Ealing Common www.grangeealing.co.uk.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain.
